Rules
- Familiarize yourself with the 10 Principles
- No MOOP! (Matter Out of Place) - This means no trash, packaging, food waste, feathers, glitter, ANYTHING left on the ground anywhere, anytime. This is a core rule at Burning Man, and since we are a placed camp we will be evaluated in camp throughout the week, out on the Playa around the Art Car, and most importantly after we all leave. PICK UP AFTER YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES, and even if it isn't yours please pick up anything you see on the ground that doesn't belong and dispose of it properly. Tons of great info in the survival guide about this here
- Be respectful of your camp mates and neighbors - Its BM, we all love to party, but sometimes ya gotta rest. Just don't be a dick, okay?
- Pack it in / Pack it out - YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE for hauling out ALL trash that you create during your stay. There are no camp trash bins/dumpsters/or anything like that. Be prepared to ride out with everything you brought in!
- It is highly recommended to remove all packaging possible from food, camping equip & anything that you are bringing in order to minimize the amount of trash you need to haul out.
- If you use the Kitchen - then leave it clean! nuff said.
- NO REEFER IN CAMP - We know, it's legal in NV and it's fun to spark up a doobie with the friends, but Burning Man is held on FEDERAL land and therefore smoking Ganga is AGAINST THE LAW. There are 4 different agencies that police the playa, and they patrol the open playa and the city streets. If they smell reefer that gives them probable cause to come into our camp and search, which we DO NOT WANT.
- Be careful if you are partying - READ THIS and familiarize yourself with how to deal with cops at Burning Man.
CAMP STRIKE PLAN
- We are still working on our camp strike plan. You will be expected to help! Stay tuned for more info.
